Job Description


Coordinates with department executives and assists with implementation of marketing and community relations opportunities and initiatives. Uses the latest media and digital tools to expand brand’s reach locally while increasing brand loyalty and awareness. Using digital tools, promotes the company, grows digital community engagement, and improves company web and social media presence. Responds to internal and external requests in a timely fashion and maintains highly organized documentation and reports with precise follow-up. Works as a team with marketing department, outside vendors and other administrative staff.

1. Creates video content and messaging for social media channels and website. Captures key events company-wide.
2. Develops and executes digital marketing campaigns, using digital tools such as e-mail, text, social media, digital advertising, blogs and website.
3. Photographs events and store merchandise in creative ways to share with followers and include in digital marketing campaigns.
4. Proactively identifies and executes story ideas and features for social media and other digital channels.
5. Analyzes key metrics to monitor and improve digital marketing and social media.
6. Creatively seeks new ways and ideas to market online with the latest digital platforms, tools, and trends
7. Identifies and develops internal success stories for public/multi-media channel distribution. Assists with production of stories.
8. Develops and maintains timely and accurate reports, including but not limited to: digital media placement and effectiveness, strategic goals monitoring and highlights, general marketing reports.
9. This position requires some travel (30% within Southern California); a valid CA driver's license and state-required auto insurance necessary. Driving records must be acceptable by company’s insurance vendor.

• Equivalent completed college coursework to an Associate’s degree required. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in marketing, public relations, business administration or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in digital marketing, social media, photography, and video content creation.
• Advanced knowledge of video development and audiovisual editing software and presentation software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Premiere Elements, Adobe Creative Suite 5, and PowerPoint
• Understanding of social media, website analytics, and digital marketing best practices.
• Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, collaboration, and people skills.
• High degree of professionalism with ability to work under stressful situations and tight deadlines.
• Creative, detail oriented and a resourceful problem solver.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Outstanding customer services skills.

1. One to two years of Marketing experience.

• Must have advanced knowledge proficiency of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel, and E-mail.
• Advanced knowledge of video development and audiovisual editing software and presentation software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Premiere Elements, Adobe Creative Suite 5, and PowerPoint
• Database and PR software (Vocus / Cision)
• Design software – Adobe, InDesign, etc.
• Social Media – experience with administration and execution of wide range of social media tools and channels
• Ability to quickly learn new applications
