Job Description

Job Summary  
The Donation Associate works under the direction of the Attended Donation Center District Manager to efficiently operate a retail donation site, bookstore or donation event. Provides excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, neat, safe and organized environment. 
Responsibilities
1. Greets and assists donors, unloading donations from their vehicles and providing receipts.  1. Communicates Goodwill Southern California’s mission, programs and donation eligibility to donors and the public.  2. Stacks, sorts, stores donations and merchandises the bookstore according to procedures.  3. Maintains a safe and secure donation site at all times. Performs necessary janitorial work.  4. Accurately tracks and reports donations daily.  5. Opens location on time and ensures location is secured at the end of the day.  6. Maintains site, Book Store and events according to company standards and guidelines.  7. Performs accurate operation of a cash register. Reconciles receipts, currency and production reports as required  8. Assists with the unloading and loading of trucks, regularly lifting up to 30 lbs. and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.  9. This position will require travel to multiple job sites up to 50 miles radius.  10. Working flexible shifts and overtime when needed. 
Qualifications
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.  • Ability to read, write and comprehend 8th grade+ English to understand policies and guidelines.  • Ability to perform simple math. 
Experience
• One year of Customer Service experience preferred  • Cashier experience preferred.
