Job Description

Primary Responsibility / Summary

Manages all phases of contract performance at Government site(s).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Coordinates and directs operations and personnel to ensure efficient and profitable operations of all contract requirements, within prescribed time and funding parameters.
2. Uses independent judgement within the framework of government contract requirements, and implements company policies, protocols, and objectives affecting operational activities.
3. Is thoroughly familiar with all elements of contract requirements.
4. Directs and supervises department supervisors and employees, including client-workers.
5. Oversees training of employees within their job scope, with emphasis on specific government rules and regulations.
6. Ensures that all work performed meets requirement of the government Performance Work Standards and Task Analyses.
7. Completes all required reports (payroll, production, performance evaluations, etc.) in a timely manner.
8. Implements a Quality Assurance System to provide feedback to subordinate employee and senior managers.
9. Inspects job performance with government representatives, and initiates corrective action on the spot whenever possible.
10. Advise Senior Program Manager promptly whenever deficiencies are noted by government inspectors.
11. Maintains cooperative working relations with government managers and participates in management meetings when requested by the government.
12. Immediately advises supervisor when government directs changes in contract requirements.
 
 

Education & Experience

• 3-5 years of managerial and supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
