Job Summary
  

The Lead Donation Associate assists the ADC District Manager in the efficient operation of an ADC site, trailer and bookstore. Lead site staff as assigned in a geographical area of 1 to 3 locations. ** A Lead will be trained by the ADC District Manager and must complete all training before assuming the position.
 
 

Responsibilities

1. Assist in providing and maintaining a safe environment for customers and employees.
2. Maintain excellent housekeeping standards at the site/bookstore and backroom donation area.
3. Open, close and work as a Lead, within specified guidelines, and has full open availability, consulting with ADC District Manager when needed.
4. Create necessary weekly schedules and coordinate with other leads for donation drives, commercial pick-ups, call outs, benefit time off and any other requests and emails to each location after DM approval.
5. Reconcile DSR, receipts, currency (in bookstore locations only) and production reports.
6. Maintain book rotation color schedule for pulls and newly shelved books/media (in bookstores only). 7. Utilize Intranet to complete reports, communicate via email and keep up to date with processes and procedures. Communicate with DM for unscheduled necessary Donation Transportation Pickups.
8. Maintain excellent customer and employee relations.
9. Assign specific duties to Donation Attendants; follow-up on progress and assist/participate in the process.
10. Create all Supply Orders and place the order after DM approval.
11. Attend any Company classes and training as required.
12. Participate in a weekly conference call with the ADC DM assigned to their area.
13. Direct bin sorting process to be determined at a future date as assigned to each site in the area and report progress to the DM.
14. Work as a Donation Attendant when not performing Lead duties.
15. Able to move 50lbs minimum and work flexible shifts and overtime when needed.
 
 

Qualifications

1. Demonstrated leadership capacity and excellent people skills.
2. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
3. Ability to read, write and comprehend 8th grade+ English to understand policies and guidelines.
4. Ability to perform simple math.



Experience

1. One year of customer service experience and one year minimum of donation associate experience required.
2. Cashier experience preferred.
